What You Bring to the Role
- At least 12 months of programming experience
- 5-8 years of company work experience with 2 of those years being within IT or having 3 years of relevant experience working with DevOps.
- Great interview skills as you will be interviewing with many companies and leads in the tech industry.
- MUST be able to code in C# or VB or Java or Python or Ruby or GO or any Object-oriented programming language etc. Terraform or ARM Templates or PULUMI or Bicep.
- Must have experience with CI/CD which is a fundamental concept in Azure DevOps.
- Must have DevOps Experience. Familiar with cloud platforms such as Microsoft, Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Platform.
- Vital to be well-versed with Jenkins, Azure Pipelines or GitLab CI/CD tools. Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Must have knowledge of any RDBMS like SQL or Oracle or Postgres SQL. Must have knowledge of Computer Networks, Agile Methodology & Devops. Good to have PowerShell, scripting languages: Json, Python, YAML. Good to have knowledge on Security like Authentication & Authorization.
- Must understand Computer Networks, Agile Methodology & DevOps.
- Ability to deliver software development and software builds and releases (which includes the design, development, support of builds, scripts, and installation procedure)
- Be excited by the prospect of optimizing, or even re-designing, a company’s Cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipeline leveraging tools.
- Self-directed and comfortable supporting the automation needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field
- Working SQL knowledge with relational databases, query authoring, as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to travel (80% after Training portion) and live in the U.S.
- Ability to communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-tech stakeholders.
