Note: Candidates must have experience developing software applications in an AWS Cloud environment. This is NOT a DevOps or Cloud Engineer position. The role requires hands-on expertise in AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SOAP-based web services, MTOM attachments, and AWS Step Functions.
Job Description:
The State of Georgia is seeking an AWS Cloud Developer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS. The ideal candidate should have experience in serverless architectures, SOAP-based web services, and workflow orchestration in an Agile SCRUM environment.
- Develop Cloud-Native Applications on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3. (5+ years)
- Implement Serverless Architectures using AWS Lambda functions with Python. (5+ years)
- Build & Orchestrate Workflows using AWS Step Functions and AWS State Machines. (5+ years)
- Develop SOAP-Based Web Services and handle custom headers for security and authentication. (5+ years)
- Implement MTOM Attachments for handling binary data such as PDFs in web services. (5+ years)
- Work with XML, XSD, and WSDL to support web services. (5+ years)
- Follow Agile Methodologies and SCRUM framework for iterative development. (3+ years)
- Utilize CI/CD Pipelines & DevOps Practices for software delivery. (Preferred)
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. (Preferred)
- AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer are a plus. (Preferred)
