Who we are looking for:
The IT Admin III plays a crucial role in ensuring and leading the reliability, security, and efficiency of our technology resources while providing exceptional support to end-users. This role maintains and manages the operations surrounding the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and user devices. The IT Admin III also provides high-level technical support to Teammates by resolving complex IT-related issues promptly and effectively. This role reports directly to the Manager, IT Operations and performs tasks and duties independently.
What you will do:
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Provide basic to advanced level technical support and guidance for all internal users throughout the organization, both in the office and in the field
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and operating systems both in person and remotely
- Provision hardware, including computers and phones, for new employees and assist with their on-boarding
- Provide service level support for all internal users. Services include: Meraki, G-Suite, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Zendesk, SentinelOne, Jamf, Workspace ONE, Atlassian JIRA & Confluence, Salesforce, and other internal tools & applications
- Account management, including provisioning and de-provisioning access as well as troubleshooting login issues, password resets, etc
- Develop and maintain documentation to facilitate self-service problem solving and process improvement
- Design and implement technology solutions to meet business needs and technical objectives.
- Perform daily monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of systems and networks, their configuration, and performance.
- Monitor issue resolutions and collaborate cross functionally with groups outside of IT when necessary to resolve and apply fixes. Verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups, restores, patches and automating reoccurring tasks.
- Analyze and resolve technology and end user incidents
- Serves as a subject matter expert on IT upgrades, enhancements, new functionality, capacities, performance, cost effectiveness, and business integrations
- Utilize procedures and standards to ensure operational consistency on a nationwide basis and update documentation as required
- Maintain records on repairs, down time, and configuration changes
- Maintain inventory of all company owned equipment
- Partner with vendors to assist with software licensing and procuring hardware, including computers, phones, and vehicle inspection equipment
- Administer server operating systems including performance monitoring, operations planning, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Monitor system and network performance and tune performance as necessary
- Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning and support
- Participate in capacity planning including forecasting of needs for future IT initiatives
- Moving equipment, such as computers and networking equipment, when employees move in-office or between locations
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you will need:
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - IT-related field required
- 3 year(s) Industry experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- 1 or more IT related certifications required
- Experience deploying and supporting enterprise applications with a 24/7 user base
- Experience deploying and administering Windows Server operating systems
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting both Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience configuring and maintaining iOS devices, like iPhones and iPads
- Experience using/supporting G-Suite, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Zendesk, Workspace ONE, Jamf, or SentinelOne strongly preferred
- Ability to visualize and understand complex systems
- Familiarity with ITIL standards and IT Security compliance standards and practices
- Ability to deal tactfully with persons in authority, co-workers, and members of the public
- Demonstrated customer service skills, including the ability to be empathetic, accurate, compassionate, responsive, resourceful, and conscientious
Compensation : $76,000.00 - $79,000.00 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
