Role Overview:
The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure, primarily centered on Microsoft O365 and Azure environments. This hands-on role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Manage and maintain Microsoft O365 and Azure environments, including user accounts, security settings, and resource provisioning.
- Network Management: Ensure stable and secure network operations, including monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with service providers.
- Security: Implement and enforce IT security protocols to protect company data and systems, including monitoring for vulnerabilities and performing regular updates.
- Helpdesk Support: Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support for internal teams, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Backup and Recovery: Maintain backup systems and ensure disaster recovery processes are tested and operational.
- Software and Hardware Maintenance: Manage procurement, installation, and updates of hardware and software.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support their technology needs and align IT operations with company goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft O365 administration and Azure management.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
- Experience with Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and SharePoint administration.
- Knowledge of IT compliance standards and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware or Hyper-V).
