Our current opening is for an System Administrator (MSP). You will play a crucial role in ensuring the alignment of clients’ IT environments with company standards. This position involves conducting regular technical reviews, assessing risks, and fostering proactive service to reduce reactive tickets. The System Administrator (MSP) works closely with Virtual CIOs (vCIOs) to maintain best practices, implement standards, and align technology strategies with clients’ business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular onsite visits for technology alignment and technical assessments.
- Maintain and develop technical standards and best practices for client environments.
- Identify and communicate technical risks to the vCIO.
- Build and sustain technical relationships with clients, ensuring alignment with established standards.
- Document and update all technical information to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Support the ROC (Service Desk) & Projects team 25% of the time as needed
Qualifications and Technical Experience:
- M365 Suite
- RMM tools (ConnectWise, Kaseya, Ninja, etc)
- Adobe apps
- Azure Entra ID
- Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server
- Networking familiarity: Meraki switches, Unify, Cisco APs (preferred but different manufacturer experience will also align)
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with vCIOs, clients, and internal teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation abilities
- Process-driven, motivated, and capable of process improvement
