We are a growing IT services provider is seeking a System Administrator (MSP) to handle mid level escalations and projects while ensuring client IT environments meet industry standards and best practices. This role involves working hands on and conducting technical assessments, identifying risks, and improving overall IT performance. The System Administrator (MSP) will work closely with Virtual CIOs (vCIOs) to align technology strategies with business needs and maintain proactive IT support. This position offers career growth, with a planned promotion to vCIO within one year.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct onsite technology assessments and ensure IT alignment with best practices.
- Identify and communicate technical risks to the vCIO.
- Maintain and update client IT documentation for consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Build strong technical relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Support the service desk and projects team as needed (approx. 25% of the time).
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with M365 Suite, RMM tools, Azure Entra ID, Active Directory.
- Familiarity with networking technologies (Meraki, Cisco, UniFi, or similar).
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software solutions.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Process-driven with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
