This position requires a strong background in Windows Server, Linux Server, Microsoft Azure or Cloud technologies, server administration, Active Directory, and DNS management. A demonstrated ability to implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure and manage cloud or virtual server environments is essential.
Certifications:
• Certification in Agile or Scrum-based Project Management.
• ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) Service Management Foundations Certified.
Required Qualifications
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; OR
• Four (4) years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement.
• Five (5) or more years of experience with Windows server administration.
• Three (3) or more years of experience with Microsoft Azure or Cloud technologies.
• Expertise with branching strategy, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and version control using Azure pipelines and Azure repositories.
• Three (3) or more years of experience with Linux server administration.
• Three (3) or more years of experience administering Windows 2016 or newer servers.
• Five (5) or more years of experience with Active Directory and Domain Name System (DNS) administration in an enterprise environment with 1,000+ users.
• Proven experience writing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts.
• Experience working in a virtual server or Cloud environment.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications.
• Successful completion of a Level II Background Check is required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing projects with a large, distributed user base.
• Experience developing and managing schedules for multiple projects.
• Experience managing waterfall projects.
• Experience working on state government projects.
• Familiarity with compliance to Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C. for project management and reporting.
• Experience working with technical programming teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a can-do attitude with the initiative to resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Facilitation and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment.
