Lead Cloud Platform Architect - Overview:
We are working with a lead retail organization who are seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Architect to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping and leading their cloud architecture. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to the design and delivery of cloud solutions.
Lead Cloud Platform Architect - Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cloud platform architecture projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design cloud-based solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Utilize Azure cloud infrastructure to architect solutions that support and enhance data strategy.
- Design, implement, and manage solutions using Databricks and Snowflake technologies.
- Manage infrastructure as code, leveraging tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, Pulumi, or others.
- Design and implement RBAC and Azure Networking, ensuring secure isolation for ADF, Databricks, Key Vault, Storage, Snowflake, and related services.
Lead Cloud Platform Architect - Required Experience:
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience in Azure cloud infrastructure management, including setting up and supporting data strategy.
- Hands-on experience in designing and architecting solutions using Databricks and Snowflake.
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices with tools like Terraform, ARM, Pulumi, or similar.
- Expertise in RBAC and Azure Networking, including the design of secure network isolation for services like ADF, Databricks, Key Vault, and Snowflake.
Lead Cloud Platform Architect - Preferred Skills:
- Ability to lead and mentor teams of architects and engineers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality cloud solutions.
