IT Systems Administrator

ThinkLite Air is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to work alongside our Director of Product Development & IS Infrastructure, providing technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strategic support to help optimize our IT operations.
This senior-level position will take ownership of challenges, improve systems, and contribute to our company's growth. The ideal candidate is technical, detail-oriented, and a team player who enjoys learning, teaching, and working in a fast-paced, solution-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Technical & Application Support
- Act as the escalation point for tier 1 & 2 support (both internal and client-facing).
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT and application-related issues.
- Manage and configure third-party and internally built applications to meet operational needs.
- Support integrations and automation tools such as Zapier, Monday.com, Pipedrive, and QuickBooks.
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal dashboards and reporting tools.
System Administration & Security
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for both internal and external users.
- Implement and oversee best practices for IT security, compliance, and data protection.
- Work closely with the Director to assess and improve network and infrastructure security.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Identify patterns in user issues and collaborate with development teams to enhance application stability, usability, and performance.
- Contribute to and improve knowledge bases, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs.
- Be proactive in suggesting and implementing new technologies to improve IT operations.
General IT Support & Operations
- Provide hands-on IT support for internal teams, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with system upgrades, software deployments, and IT project implementations.
- Work closely with the Director to improve overall IT strategy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in IT system administration (Linux), networking, and automation.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting IT network issues.
- Hands-on experience with docker and networking concepts (i.e., Layer 3, Subnetting, Routing, firewall, VLAN, and NAT).
- Familiarity with IoT security practices.
- Understanding of industrial protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and MQTTs.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Skilled in data analysis and reporting using and building Microsoft Excel and Power BI templates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API integrations (SORIS & NORIS).
- Background in industrial automation, smart buildings, and IoT device management.
- Familiarity with advanced data analysis tools such as Docker, Azure ML, or Apache Spark.

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 plus quarterly/annual team and performance bonuses. Determined by related and relevant experience.
