About This Position
The Business Analyst II position is responsible for driving internal process improvements and conducting financial reviews across the offset/digital printing and bindery departments. This position requires a strong understanding of print manufacturing workflows and cost accounting within a deadline driven fast-paced print production environment. Individual must be able to support colleagues of multiple skillset levels who may express or experience difficulty in learning new processes, procedures and new software functionality.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and optimize internal processes to enhance efficiency and scalability within print manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with multiple departments and management teams to drive strategic solutions through data-driven analysis.
- Create various KPI touchpoints enhancing the ability to measure improved production workflows and increase visibility of how newly adopted processes achieves the strategic and operational goals.
- Conduct financial reviews, manage financial records, and prepare monthly journal entries for corporate ERP systems.
- Ensure that data integrity, security and optimization between printing facility and corporate offices is accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform data handling tasks that may require data cleansing and transformation actions in effort to increase the visibility and accuracy of production level data collection and financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost analysis to support business decision-making.
- Help the printing business make data-driven decisions based on optimizing data infrastructure within the MIS and ERP systems.
- Commonly create and adjust creative report writing tactics to overview fixed vs variable cost analysis for production facility.
- Compare and evaluate business expenses and future scalability costs for yearly budget reviews
- Support the implementation and adoption of a new industry specific software system, ensuring an improved user experience and data integrity/visibility.
- Work closely with production managers to elevate the efficiencies of streamlining long-term production processes.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with corporate policies, including business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Validate business units and applications to ensure compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and risk management practices.
Education, Experience & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- General Information Technology, Data Administration, Data Analyst, Accounting & Finance
- 4 - 5 years Experience
- Common knowledge of Accounting and Finance, general Information Technology, print manufacturing industry, reporting and data analytics.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a common goal.
- Proficiency in industry-standard MIS & ERP software applications.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to support staff at all levels.
- Extended knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Must have extensive experience using complex formulas and functionality in Microsoft Excel.
- Report writing and SQL database management experience is preferred
- Experience in print manufacturing workflows and cost accounting preferred
- Workday and ePace MIS accounting experience is preferred
- Understanding of cybersecurity policies and risk management best practices is preferred
