Summary
Position assists the wider IT and Business Intelligence teams providing excellent systems and end user support while driving complexity, delay/wait points and cost out of the electronic systems used to conduct business by Winzer and our affiliates. Responsibilities include but are not limited to active directory maintenance, server and PC maintenance, network troubleshooting and assistance with projects to install, replace or correct network hardware and wiring.
Education/Experience
- High School graduate required.
- CompTIA A+ or similar experience with hardware and networking.
- 2 years of verifiable experience should be sufficient to be successful in this opportunity.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Basic knowledge of the OSI model, specifically layers 1, 2 and 3
- Experience with Microsoft Active directory Users and Computers
- DHCP, DHCP Reservations and VLAN
- Prefer experience with an RMM (Remote Management and Maintenance) solution
- Exposure to device management through SNMP with HP Web JetAdmin or similar
- Exposure to an MDM (Mobile Device Management) solution such as SOTI or Knox
- Any PowerShell or Command Line experience will be helpful
- Experience documenting work procedures

Essential Duties
- Provide courteous support to users
- Initially, manage projects to clean up AD databases and configure NinjaOne RMM for further functionality
- Manage requests for network password resets
- Manage O365 User accounts from creation through deletion
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connection problems with local, remote and vendor resources
- Manage E Waste disposal
- Manage repairs with vendors. Specifically, Zebra printers and handheld scanners
- Where applicable, conduct work according to written procedures
- Amend procedures to include current information or better practice
- Create or suggest new procedures
- Drive uniformity and simplicity
- Be creative. Make smart mistakes while learning new things

Physical Requirements
Must be able to efficiently use a Windows laptop.Ability to communicate in English required, Spanish desired.Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools necessary to run, terminate and test ethernet structured cabling.Manual dexterity and lifting capability (estimate 25~30#) to install and assemble network or end user devices such as switches, routers, laptops, desktops, printers, monitors and monitor stands.Infrequent travel to remote facilities to help with network and hardware projects (
