Position: IAM Architect
Location: Schaumburg, IL (On-site)

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced IAM Architect to lead the architectural design, software development, integration, and project management of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. This role requires deep expertise in IAM technologies, security best practices, and enterprise-level identity solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable IAM architectures aligned with security and compliance requirements
- Develop enterprise IAM solutions integrating authentication, authorization, and governance frameworks
- Lead the deployment and configuration of Okta Enterprise IAM and other IAM technologies
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Federation solutions
- Manage identity lifecycle, role-based access control (RBAC), and privileged access management (PAM)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security and compliance standards
- Ensure IAM solutions align with NIST, CIS, and industry best practices
- Oversee IAM-related project management, including stakeholder communication and risk mitigation
Required Skills & Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in IAM architecture, design, and implementation
- Strong expertise in Okta Enterprise IAM solutions
- Experience with Active Directory (AD), LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
- Hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Thycotic
- Proficiency in IAM automation using Python, PowerShell, or Java
- Deep understanding of IAM governance, identity lifecycle management, and access certifications
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and Cloud IAM solutions (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM)
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent IAM security certifications are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
