Network Administrator
Key Responsibilities
- Key administrator of day-to-day technical operations.
- Serves as the “Microsoft domain and Office365 expert”, championing functionality to improve overall performance and drive process automation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with rest of the IT team and other department managers to help streamline technology-related workflows
- Documents requirements for system changes, system design specifications, functional specifications, implementation strategies and operational procedures based on business needs.
- Provide expertise and counsel to end users (internal customers) and act as top tier help support for the IT help desk team.
- Ensure technical objectives, system stability, and user satisfaction targets are achieved.
- Ensure processes and technologies align across multiple business segments consistently
- Anticipates and addresses implementation obstacles by devising approaches to assess the situation, developing and testing options, and introducing new procedures or tools.
- Ability to think through creative solutions in conjunction with the technical team to solve for business problems.
- Develop detailed business case to support new software implementations and enhancements.
- Contribute as part of the IT team to the success, direction and strategy of the department with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Perform system enhancements including configuration changes, to ensure proper and correct system functionality, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Assist with application design, testing and issue remediation.
- Helps facilitates change requests, assignments, testing and communications to user groups and Quality Assurance team members.
- Collaborate with IT team on project portfolio management & project delivery framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field or equivalent work experience
- Industry standard certifications (ITIL, MCSA, MCSE, Azure, O365, VMWare, AWS) a plus
- Min 3-years of experience working with Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, and other Microsoft domain technologies
- Min 5-years of experience working with Exchange Online, and other Office365 technologies
- Demonstrate deep understanding of business needs and workflow; experienced in liaising with these functions to provide recommendations for automation and operational efficiency.
