Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) to join our team. The vCIO will play a critical role in building and maintaining strategic relationships with our clients, ensuring their technology aligns with their business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of driving technology success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and aligning technology solutions to support those goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic IT plans, including technology roadmaps, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Technology Alignment: Work closely with the Technology Alignment Manager (TAM) to ensure clients are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Client Education: Educate clients on the value of technology investments and the impact on their business success.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance metrics, including support requests, escalated issues, and completed technology reviews.
- Proactive Support: Balance proactive and reactive activities to ensure client success and satisfaction.
- New Technology Planning: Identify and plan for new technology implementations that align with client business goals.
- Scheduled Strategy Meetings: Frequent strategy meetings, budgeting, and projects is a regular part of the process. Schedule meeting dates one year in advance to provide ample planning time.
- We utilize Truemethods as our IT operating system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and technology alignment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
