Description: Insight Global is looking for a Sr. System Administrator to join one of our government clients in San Diego, CA. This person will work alongside software development and network security teams to support variety of virtualized Windows and Linux systems that for the Security Operations Center and Computer Network Defense of a government customer. They will be responsible for managing and maintaining Linux workstations, supporting the DevOps pipeline for proprietary government software tools, managing and maintaining the scanning and other security related server infrastructure, assisting with STIGing and maintaining Windows workstations. They will also support deployment and management of network security assets with tools like Ansible, Python, and Bash. This is a fulltime job opportunity on an active government program that will require on-site work in Pt. Loma, San Diego, CA.
Desired Experience:
- Active Secret clearance
- IAT II certification (i.e. Security+ or equivalent)
- Experience with virtualized Windows and Linux (Red Hat) systems with V-Sphere
- Experience with AWS and /or Azure cloud infrastructure
- Experience with deployment and management tools like Ansible or similar tools
- Experience with cybersecurity responsibilities like STIG, HBSS and ACAS compliance
