System Administrator (On-site, Los Angeles or Long Beach, CA)

We are looking for a System Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage office and cloud-based servers (Google Cloud and other providers);
- Set up and maintain development, testing, and production environments;
- Organize and support data storage systems (file systems, databases, distributed storage);
- Ensure secure and timely access to necessary servers and data for employees;
- Administer networks and ensure security;
- Automate workflows (server deployment, backups, updates);
- Configure, assemble, maintain, and monitor the performance of both physical and remote servers;
- Set up development environments, including virtualization and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes);
- Support and maintain on-site server infrastructure;
- Physically assemble, install, and configure servers.
Requirements:
- Experience with cloud and on-premise server infrastructure;
- Knowledge of Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, or similar platforms;
- Experience in setting up and managing VPNs, firewalls, and monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.);
- Proficiency in virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes);
- Understanding of network protocols and security technologies (TLS/SSL, IPSec, two-factor authentication);
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues and optimize infrastructure;
- Basic understanding of video signal routing, SDI (BNC) connectors, and video equipment operation (cameras, production switchers);
- Ability to work in the GMT+4 time zone.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD systems;
- Proficiency in Linux administration;
- Experience with backup and data recovery systems;
- Knowledge of the Russian language is a plus.
This is an on-site position, and candidates must be located in Los Angeles or Long Beach, CA.
