Midjourney is seeking an exceptional IT Systems Administrator to establish and manage our core IT infrastructure! You will handle device management, access control, and security while maintaining a practical balance between security and usability. The candidate must be detail-oriented, security-conscious & think proactively.
Responsibilities
- Device Management: Deploy and maintain a comprehensive mobile device management (MDM) solution for company-wide device control, remote wiping capabilities, and asset tracking
- Access Control: Manage GCP permissions, user access, and identity management across company systems with precision and security awareness
- Infrastructure Development: Setup and configure development environments, manage networking infrastructure, and implement secure connection solutions
- Security Implementation: Execute security policies and procedures while maintaining a positive user experience
- System Administration: Handle routine IT tasks, user support, and system maintenance with exceptional attention to detail
- Documentation and Process: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, procedures, and systems
- Strategic Planning: Identify opportunities for improvement and automation while maintaining core IT services
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on system administration or IT support experience
Strong background in endpoint management and security implementation
Experience with cloud platforms (particularly GCP) and networking fundamentals
Proven track record in startup IT or similar structured environments
Superior problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills and service-oriented mindset
Experience with MDM solutions and remote management tools
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
Must be able to work from downtown sf office minimum 1 day per week
Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
