Responsibilities
- Conduct network penetration tests on internal and external systems to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and execute test plans, providing detailed reports with actionable remediation advice.
- Analyze and understand network traffic, systems, and services to assess security risks and exposures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest tools, techniques, and trends in the cybersecurity field.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in network penetration testing or a similar security-focused role.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking protocols.
- Proficiency in Active Directory concepts and structure.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or others is a plus.
- Sysadmin experience is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with Kerberos, SAML, and other authentication schemes is a plus.
- Strong passion for cybersecurity and a desire to grow and learn in the field.
- Writing experience (reports, findings, etc.) is a plus.
