About the role
At PopStroke, you'll have the opportunity to engage with state-of-the-art entertainment technology within the golf and entertainment industry. Your role will involve implementing IT systems and processes across the organization. Joining our venue technology team will position you at the forefront of shaping PopStroke's future, making a profound and lasting impact on its trajectory.
This role is responsible for the overall strategy and execution for all IT computer systems, applications, tools, and networks across PopStroke venues and back offices. You will partner across the organization to implement processes and systems to support the accelerating growth of PopStroke.
Reports to: Chief of Staff & Product Strategy
Status: Full-Time Exempt
Location: in office, Jupiter, FL, with occasional travel to Stuart, FL, as well as travel to venues throughout the United States
What you'll do
- Manage and support IT tools and services which include Microsoft 365, Okta, Slack.
- Lead IT initiatives and projects, aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals.
- Installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting appropriate hardware and software at each venue, including: Laptops, NUC PCs, Point of Sale, video security system, firewall, networked equipment, and VOIP system.
- Oversee network and server infrastructures, and the setup of real time monitoring, dashboards, and alert notifications.
- Own the procurement and provisioning of staff computers and hardware.
- Some travel to venues to install and configure network equipment, and ensure successful testing.
- Implement and maintain the security of the network, data, and its storage and communication systems, developing network and backup disaster recovery solutions.
- Oversee daily operations of service help desk requests, account provisioning, and implement automation across systems and applications.
- Deploy remote monitoring and management (RMM) solutions across devices and servers, mobile device management (MDM) solutions, and end point security solutions.
- Implement and support a Knowledge Base for technology systems and tools.
- Source and configure primary and backup internet from fiber, coaxial, and cellular services.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience managing and supporting Microsoft 365, and/or Google Workspace across an enterprise.
- Ability to configure and support Okta, provision integrations with SSO, and build automation workflows.
- Experience managing, deploying, and troubleshooting Windows and Mac computers, and iOS devices.
- Ability to configure, deploy, and manage ITSM tools such as JIRA Service Manager or similar.
- Knowledge of IT compliance, risk management, and data privacy regulations.
- Experience managing and maintaining hardware (servers, storage, networking equipment)
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools to identify, assess, and remediate system and network vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with endpoint security platforms, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, and advanced threat protection.
- Experience in negotiating and managing relationships with external vendors or service providers.
- Strong communication skills, critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, as well as team oriented.
- Proven ability to prioritize, handle risk, control costs, and adhere to timelines and budget
- Ability to use tools, troubleshoot, and test equipment.
- Ability to create and maintain structured, searchable technical documentation and train users on interfaces.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Occasional weekend, holiday and/or after hour support may be required.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 20% of the time to individual locations as needed; valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Knowledge to configure, install, and support Meraki Firewalls
- Ability to configure, install, and support Cisco Catalyst Switches
- Configuration knowledge to install and support Ubiquiti Wireless Access Points, and Cloud Key
- Experience designing, documenting, implementing, and testing highly available networks with automatic failover between multiple ISPs
- Ability to configure, install, and support on premise VOIP servers (such as Sangoma), and VOIP handsets
- Experience with SAVI Controls or other commercial AV control systems
- Experience with and strong inclination to use Infrastructure as Code tools
- Proficient with Git/Github
- Experience with commercial system integrations including audio, video, and lighting
- Experience in hospitality, restaurants, entertainment venues, and/or other multi-unit businesses
- Professional certifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Interest in golf or other sports
The position will be based in our corporate office in Jupiter, FL, with occasional travel to the Stuart office, as well as travel to venues throughout the United States.
