Role Description
This is a full-time on-site at Kinetix Solutions in Coconut Creek, FL. We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Administrator with experience in managing and securing desktop environments. The successful candidate will focus on integrating and supporting Microsoft Entra, as well as performing desktop administration, troubleshooting, and ensuring the organization's endpoints are secured and compliant with internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and Maintain Desktop Environments: Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, including operating systems (Windows/Mac), hardware, and software.
- Microsoft Entra Integration: Administer Microsoft Entra identity and access management tools for secure authentication, single sign-on (SSO), and conditional access policies.
- Endpoint Security: Implement security measures such as endpoint protection, encryption, antivirus, and patch management.
- Collaboration: Work with tier 1 and tier 2 support team when additional help is needed to end-users for desktop-related issues, including access to enterprise applications.
- Collaboration: Work with IT teams to deploy and configure Entra solutions for seamless user access and identity management.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues related to desktop and endpoint systems, including issues with Entra authentication and authorization.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure desktop systems are compliant with security policies, standards, and regulations, leveraging Entra for monitoring and auditing.
Qualifications
- Experience in desktop administration, including Windows and macOS.
- Experience with endpoint management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Entra / Intune).
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, with a focus on user authentication and access management.
- Desktop Administration and System Administration skills.
- Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Desktop Computers.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
