We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud System Administrator to join our IT team. This role requires a multifaceted professional capable of managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity, supporting networking and server operations, and maintaining critical business systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a variety of platforms, tools, and technologies, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and system optimization.
Position: Cloud System Administrator
Location: Hybrid (Ideal candidates will live in one of the following areas: Seattle, Washington / Dallas, Texas / Salt Lake City, Utah)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000
Benefits: 401K with up to a 4% employer match. Medical, dental, and vision - 100% paid for by the employer. Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.

What You'll Be Doing:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions.
- Monitor performance, ensure high availability, and scale systems as needed.
- Optimize cloud environments for cost and performance.
Networking and Server Support:
- Configure and maintain Ubiquiti network devices and related infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Manage physical and virtual servers, including patching, updates, and performance monitoring.
Cybersecurity:
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect systems from vulnerabilities.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards and company policies.
Patch Management:
- Perform regular updates and patches to servers, endpoints, and software.
- Ensure all systems are compliant with security and performance requirements.
Software and Systems Support:
- Administer Office 365, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Manage backups and disaster recovery solutions, such as Acronis.
- Support application virtualization and remote access solutions, including Cameyo.
Device and Asset Management:
- Manage mobile device management (MDM) solutions for company devices.
- Maintain hardware and software inventories.
Documentation and Training:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
- Train staff on new tools, policies, and best practices as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in a system administrator role with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, CompTIA Cloud+, CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and VLANs.
- Hands-on experience with Network devices and network management tools.
- Expertise in Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with software backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
- Understanding of MDM solutions and their deployment.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation
- Proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Hybrid work environment with occasional on-site requirements as needed.Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- May require on-call availability for critical system support.
