Great Hill is seeking a
Cyber Analyst in Suffolk, Virginia, to enhance the security and resilience of military communication systems. This role involves conducting vulnerability analysis, integrating modern security protocols, and testing system configurations to ensure robust cyber defenses. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to safeguard critical systems against evolving cyber threats. A Secret clearance and strong experience in cybersecurity guidelines, vulnerability management, and data protection are required.
This position offers the opportunity to work with classified data, address critical cybersecurity challenges, and contribute to secure military operations. Applicants must demonstrate expertise in modern security practices and a commitment to protecting vital systems and networks, ensuring the integrity of national security initiatives
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of cybersecurity guidelines, system security, controls, and accreditation process.
- Experience identifying systemic security issues based on the analysis of vulnerability and configuration data.
- Experience conducting research to identify best practices and lessons learned from exercises or real-world events.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate modern security protocols (TLS, SSH, etc.) into systems and applications.
- Experience conducting testing to verify configuration and protections of external and internal data flows between applications, containers, virtual devices, virtual machines, and cloud infrastructure
- 5+ years of related experience
- CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Joint Test & Evaluation (JT&E) or operational testing.
Security Clearance:
- Active Secret clearance required
