Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a Software Engineer candidate to support the JS J7 Joint Training DevSecOps pipeline core infrastructure and data center in Suffolk, VA. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Deputy Directorate, Joint Training (DDJT).
This role is 100% onsite.

One of the following:
- Security+ CE
- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
- System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- RHCDS Red Hat Certified Data Center Specialist
And
- Functional area certification (required prior to start date)
Required Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- At least 8 years of combined experience in a wide-range of technologies and languages to include Enterprise Architecture, Object Oriented Programming (Java/.Net), Web Services Simple Object Access Protocol/Representational State Transfer (SOAP/REST), Relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, and Postgres), Web Development (e.g., Javascript, HTLML/CSS, AngularJS, and ReactJS), Cloud Deployments (e.g., MilCloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Azure), and Agile/SCRUM development)
