Ability to become a technical subject matter expert in assigned functional area(s). Moderate or advanced computer skills with information technology associated with the position. Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position. Ability to use analysis and critical thinking in order to assess processes and recommend effective solutions. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills. Experience working well independently and, in a team, setting. Excellent problem solving and relationship building.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a field related to computer or information science. Significant years of direct work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Three (3) years of recent experience implementing and supporting a major clinical information system or three (3) years of clinical application support and demonstrated training experience preferred. Meditech and EMR experience preferred. Experience supporting specialty areas preferred. Technical implementation/project management training or experience preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: CompTia Network +, CompTia Security+, and Cisco CCNA certification preferred. A current valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance must be maintained.
