Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Data Management
- Design and maintain system architectures aligned with industry standards.
- Manage data structures, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Implement and oversee system and file-based security protocols to protect critical data assets.
- Custom Development & Scripting
- Develop and automate scripts, including robocopy, Shop Batch Printing, and Shadow Drive customizations, to optimize workflows.
- Integrate SolidWorks with CWI, focusing on customized workflows and SAP integration for streamlined operations.
- Windows & Server OS Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10 and 11, along with Windows Server OS.
- Oversee SQL Server installations and management, ensuring database efficiency and security.
- Establish and manage virtual servers and print/license servers.
- Network & Server Configuration
- Configure IP and vLAN networks in line with organizational standards.
- Design and specify server hardware for optimized performance, including high-end user workstations.
- Set up robust system-level backup solutions, analyzing requirements to determine ideal backup strategies.
- Active Directory & Security Management
- Administer Windows Active Directory, maintaining user roles and permissions in compliance with company policies.
- Implement intellectual property security protocols and ensure export compliance across systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- System Architecture: Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing system architectures.
- Data Management: Strong understanding of data storage, backup, and retrieval practices.
- System and File-Based Security: Experience with setting up and maintaining secure systems.
- Custom Development & Scripting: Expertise in robocopy, Shop Batch Printing, and Shadow Drive.
- Software Integration: SolidWorks to CWI integration and CWI-SAP workflow integration.
Specific Skills
- Proficient in installing and setting up Windows OS (10 and 11) and Server OS.
- Skilled in SQL Server installation, management, and optimization.
- Experienced with virtual server setup, print servers, and license servers.
- Knowledgeable in IP and vLAN network configurations.
- Ability to analyze high-end user Windows workstation specs for specific organizational needs.
- Strong awareness of intellectual property security practices and export compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, MCSE, or similar.
