HCH Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support our managed services practice. This is a full-time position.
The Senior Network Engineer will assist with the installation and configuration of our expanding network infrastructure. This person will be responsible for setting up the various hardware and software components, network security, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues along the way. We are looking for someone with experience with Fortinet who can do project work as well as day to day network maintenance. The Senior Network Engineer will also perform network installations, upgrades, and migrations.
The ideal candidate should have an excellent ability to solve problems using your in-depth understanding of network technologies (Fortinet, Cisco, FortiGate 600E). The top candidate will also be a strong team player, able to collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
This is an onsite position in Warwick, RI. Candidate must meet this requirement. Travel may be required between the Providence and Warwick area to service client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Support a small number of Fortinet switches, along with Cisco, and two FortiGate 600Es
- Installing network hardware components and cables.
- Configuring network software.
- Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to ensure long-term network efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the network.
- Ensuring the network operates securely.
- Providing technical support to co-workers.
- Collaborating with other members of the IT team and management.
- Performing necessary upgrades to the network infrastructure as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- Certified network professional accreditation. CompTIA certification is a plus
- Fortinet certification is preferred
Required Skills & Experience
- Must have experience with Fortinet Cisco, FortiGate 600E
- 10+ years previous experience in a network engineering focused role or similar.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Superior knowledge of various networking technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Aptitude for customer support.

This is an onsite position in Warwick, RI. Availability to travel between Providence and Warwick, RI may be required. Position may require availability on weekends and holidays.
