Position Summary

Maintain communications of the bank by identifying network requirements, planning and design, installing firmware/updates, monitoring network performance, managing phones and phone systems and responding to outages. Job is open to a network technician or administrator, based upon experience. Job will require general phone and email support for end users as well.

Job Duties

Maintain network health and performance.
Manage monitoring and security systems.
Review and respond to security alerts, threats and logs.
Maintain VoIP and cloud phone systems
Troubleshoot network and phone problems and work with vendors to resolve.
Schedule and deploy software patches and firmware to network and security devices.
Create documentation and diagrams; requires change log and storage of configuration files.
Apply network security by implementing controls and access.
Utilize network routing protocols and QoS.
Manage network asset inventory system.
Uses scripting for repetitive tasks and data management.
Reports problems to the IT Department and internal employees and works on IT Department projects.
Maintains accurate and current documentation of systems, configuration settings, and data flow diagrams.
Occasionally works after normal business hours on projects, maintenance, and outages.
Participates in various internal IT committees assigned by senior management.
Performs backup duties for the Helpdesk to answer support calls, chat, and email.
Ensures the highest levels of information security are maintained to protect customers, bank assets and staff.
Assures audit compliance and procedure quality control through system review and recommends and initiates corrective actions; ensures system resources follow established Bank policies, procedures and state and federal regulations.
Additional duties may be assigned by the IT Director.
