What We Need
NetBrain is looking for an enthusiastic, relationship-minded and technically savvy individual to join us as a Network Automation Consultant in our Services Engineering Team. We need someone who is ready to help our clients transform their organizations by creating a culture of no-code automation innovation. This is an ON-SITE opportunity with a major Federal customer.
The Impact You’ll Make
As a Network Automation Consultant with NetBrain, you will be the driving force behind adoption of our no-code automation platform within our client accounts. You will work cross-functionally within the customer organization developing relationships with engineers from L1 NOC Engineers to Senior Directors and everyone in between. You'll adapt corporate strategy, design automation architecture, and lead/enable ongoing automation development efforts while utilizing your excellent communication skills to provide leadership, training, and guidance to clients and engineers. Your consultative approach will help you evaluate client requirements, propose solutions, and accelerate automation objectives. You'll also collaborate with NetBrain sales account executives, customer success managers, NetBrain Automation Architects, and Technical Support.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the evolution of how Network Operations can be automated and transformed for global Enterprises and MSPs
- Lead customers in the identification of high impact automation targets for their Network Operations through analysis of ITSM data
- Analyze customer’s network technologies, existing playbooks and design documents to create automation solutions
- Train and develop customer engineers with automation knowledge to continue to automate on the NetBrain platform
- Architect and create automation for critical network operations tasks through NetBrain’s automation capabilities (Runbook, Qapp, Dataview, integrations etc.)
- Engage with existing vendor partnerships, research public domain knowledge to create automation content
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Who You Are
- You must be a US Citizen – Existing security clearances a plus.
- Must be able to travel to customer location in Greater Washington DC/Baltimore/Alexandria area 5 days a week (M-F) 9am - 5pm
- You have a degree in a technical subject (STEM) or equivalent work experience preferably in a partner/post-sales services or consultant role
- You have prior experience with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting (routing and switching, firewalls, load balancing, etc)
- You have exposure to common network tools including Network Monitoring, Incident Management, Log Analysis, etc.
- You have (or are working towards) CompTIA, CCNA or equivalent network certifications.
- You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with little supervision and guidance.
What We Offer
Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $125,000 - $155,000 + Bonus & Stock Options. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
