Job Summary:
This is an entry to mid-level Analyst position with oversight to company PBX Systems and associated hardware. This person will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, maintenance, and deployment of PBX hardware and associated handsets. The Analyst position will also provide day-to-day support, maintenance and assistance for all resort wide PC’s, network infrastructure and other resort technology.
Responsibilities include:
- Support, maintenance, and deployment of telecommunications hardware and software.
- Support and troubleshooting of LAN and Tip & Ring infrastructure.
- VoIP systems configuration and deployment.
- Adds/moves/changes and tier one support of the PBX.
- Support and installation of computer hardware, printers, scanners and other peripherals
- Creating and maintaining process documentation/SOP.
- Ability to speak in a clear and concise manner to a wide range of end users is required.
- Technicians must be team players, detail oriented and able to prioritize without supervision.
- While Heavenly is your base resort, you may be called upon to assist at other Tahoe Region Vail Resorts.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Functional knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure.
- Functional knowledge of PBX hardware (preferably Avaya CS100e/Nortel)
- Functional knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007/2010, Server 2008.
- Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP networking and the ability to effectively troubleshoot connectivity issues with Windows workstations and other devices within a network.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Professionalism and strong guest service skills, attention to detail and timeliness.
- Flexible schedule during peak times of the year.
- Ability to work outdoors in a dynamic mountain environment. This position requires year round work on and off the mountain.
- High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
- Valid US Driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
- Follow and enforce company guidelines, policies and practices.
- 2 years’ experience in the set-up, configuration, use and troubleshooting of Windows PC’s.
- Must be able to ski/ride.
Preferred skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University.
- CompTIA A+ or MCP preferred.
- Avaya/Nortel certifications or proof of training.
