You will be joining the Security Architecture tribe within the Chief Information Security Office in charge of putting in place the required controls to protect our information assets adequately and optimally!
The main responsibility of the tribe is to establish and promote security standard methodologies to help business and IT achieving their ambitions. This includes building vision and strategy, ensuring best practices are known and implemented in a standard way and providing security principles and reference architecture!
Role
The Security Solution Architect is in charge of delivering a comprehensive solution design that spans across IT divisions and security domains. This role also involves defining and actualizing the complete architectural solutions that meet the functional, non-functional, security, and resilience criteria.
From the conceptualization phase until realization, you collaborate with the requirement owners & the domain architects, and you own the IT engineers / application experts across the organization to craft a fit-for-purpose & quality end-to-end solution.
You act as the linking pin between Enterprise Architecture and the feature designers and engineers in IT delivery to ensure the alignment of the end-to-end solution to the enterprise standards and domain target architectures.
You actively participate to the development of the Solution Architecture & Software Engineering practices in Euroclear, contributing by delivering reusable & consumable solution patterns and building blocks to the community. The role involves close collaboration with CISO product owners to develop solutions for product requirements and services.
You contribute with your architecture experience supporting delivery experience for the definition of domain target architectures & roadmaps. You will participate actively to communities of practice with other solution architects and domain architects to collaborate and share on standard processes and lessons learned.
Profile
- With over a decade of experience in the IT industry, including a consistent track record with senior management, your background is further improved by familiarity with the Financial Services sector and its intricate regulatory landscape.
- Your role as an architect in Cyber Security projects has equipped you with the expected expertise in extensive and sophisticated IAM programs.
- As a solution architect, you have been instrumental in the end-to-end execution of large-scale transformation initiatives, leading all aspects of the design, development, and deployment of critically important transactional systems within sizable and intricate organizations.
- You cope with systems & problems of various levels of complexity, which can typically span across functions, locations & organizations.
- You can address autonomously all types of architectural analysis and can provide global & pragmatic recommendations adapted to the company context.
- You can work high-level such as crafting Strategic position papers and Reference Architectures, as well as the ability to zoom on the technical challenges of implementation. Provides advice and expertise to Enterprise and Domain Architects during architecture studies and domain architecture works.
- You are a problem-solver with strong analytical skills (e.g. breaking up & structuring sophisticated problems into manageable pieces), which you apply to problems spanning across multiple architectural domains.
- You can optimally communicate and advocate for the architecture recommendations vis-à-vis project/agile delivery teams and senior business and IT management of the company. You can sell the architecture.
- You can use your experience & knowledge to build positive relationships with other architects and the other parts of the organization. You will also be able to coach & mentor new members of the team in how to apply solutions architecture and to understand the domains and their interactions & complexities.
- Knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures (e.g. CSD), knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, SAFE), Cyber Security Architecture and RISK frameworks (SABSA, ISO 27k, NIST, ..) and confirmed experience with Agile operating models and frameworks are extra assets.
- Being proficient in English is required.
