Saleo is looking for a full stack Software Engineer II (SE II) to join our growing team. This role is perfect for those with a proven track record of developing and supporting web applications, particularly in an AWS serverless environment.
This role will be responsible for executing roadmap items for both our Live and Capture products, as well as using your technical skills to support our enterprise customers. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with customer success and product managers to ensure on time and accurate delivery of features while maintaining a positive customer experience at all times.
Candidates for this role should bring 3 or more years of full stack web development experience, a passion for learning, and a self-motivated desire for excellence. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying within the timeframe is critical. Saleo is a young company, and processes are still being defined and refined, so the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment is also important.
While this role has little-to-no customer-facing responsibility, you will regularly work with the internal Saleo team so excellent communication skills are necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver product roadmap items on Saleo’s Capture and Live products.
- Support the Saleo Live product integration across multiple customers who various customer success and account executives manage.
- Work with Saleo’s Customer Success & onboarding teams to architect and implement complex technical solutions using Javascript.
- Scope and design customer onboarding and expansion plans.
- Continually offer your technical expertise and guidance to other members of the team.
- Provide product and market feedback to the product team to help guide the product roadmap
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience using Javascript or Typescript in full stack web development
- Experience with building and maintaining AWS serverless applications (Lambda, Fargate, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.)
- Excellent debugging skills on both the frontend and backend of web applications.
- Experience solving complex problems using technology and teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Willingness and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member.
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience single-table design in DynamoDB
- Experience with Chrome extension development
