Job Description: Software Engineering - Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Remote - Nashville, TN (Candidates need to be local for client visits in the office in Nashville.)

Estimated Start Date: 12/23/2024
End Date: 6/27/2025 (with high probability of extension)
Pay Rate: up to $44.00 per hour (D.O.E.)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with strong AWS technical skills, including Glue, Lambda, PySpark, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in these technologies and be comfortable working remotely with occasional travel to client locations in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities:

Provide 24/7 production support.
Utilize AWS technologies such as Lambda, PySpark, Glue, Step Function, and RDS.
Work with Terraform, EKS, Java, Springboot, Liquibase, and Linux (nice-to-have skills).
Apply domain knowledge of healthcare, particularly Medicare/Medicaid plans and platforms.
Demonstrate flexibility to work in shifts.

Education:
A background in Software Engineering with expertise in the AWS tech stack is required.

AWS Lambda Administration: 4-6 years of experience
AWS Relational Database Service (RDS): 4-6 years of experience
PySpark: 4-6 years of experience
Medicare Advantage: 4-6 years of experience
AWS Glue: 4-6 years of experience
