OverviewJoin our dynamic Network Engineering team as a Level 1 Network Administrator, where
you will contribute to upgrading, scaling, and designing our advanced carrier-class
wireless communications network. This role involves supporting both new customer
installations and ongoing maintenance for existing clients, ensuring seamless network
performance and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Provision and configure networking equipment, including routers, switches, and
wireless communication devices, for new deployments.
- Monitor the performance of wireless and wired network infrastructure using advanced
monitoring tools.
- Respond to and troubleshoot issues in the commercial-class customer ticket queue to
ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to optimize network performance and enhance
customer experience.
- Work on-site at our South Hackensack, New Jersey office.
Qualifications and Skills- Solid understanding of IP addressing and fundamental networking concepts such as
VLANs, ARP, DHCP, NAT, and DNS.
- Understanding of network routing protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP are a strong plus.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot routing and switching in a metropolitan-scale network
environment.
- Ability to navigate, configure, and troubleshoot firewall devices.
- Familiarity with Linux server administration is a plus but not required.
- Completion of technical schooling, a degree in a related field, or equivalent hands-on
experience.
This is a full-time in-office position. Must be able to commute to the office Monday to Friday in South Hackensack, New Jersey.Benefits: - 401 (k) and employer matching
