Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves a blend of DevOps and Systems Engineering tasks, ensuring the seamless operation and scalability of our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Kubernetes, virtual machines (VMs) and server management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kubernetes Setup and Management: Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
- Virtual Machines (VMs) Setup: Create, configure, and maintain VMs to support various applications and services.
- Server Oversight: Monitor and manage server health, performance, and security.
- Patch Management: Apply patches and updates to servers and applications to maintain security and compliance.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable software releases.
- Incident Response: Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) will be considered as a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
