- Experience with systems automation and configuration management (Puppet).
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practice.
- Knowledge of enterprise integrations.
- Knowledge of API development.
- Experience with DevOps toolchain components such as ChatOps, Source Code Management, Configuration as Code, Continuous Integration/Deployment, Knowledge of integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo), Orchestration toolsets, GitHub, Jira, etc.
- Experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment.
- Deep understanding of Linux fundamentals as well as OS commands/utilities.
- Programming ability with at least one of the following: perl, python, php, or ruby and a shell language (bash, korn, etc.).
- Knowledge of operational and security best practices.
- Knowledge of monitoring and trending systems - i.e. nagios, graphite, statsd.
- Familiarity with cloud environment (vCAC, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, RackSpace, etc.).
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Demonstrated excellence in a variety of competencies including teamwork/collaboration, analytical thinking, communication and influencing skills, and technical expertise.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of Linux System's Engineering/Administration experience.
- RedHat or VCP certifications are strongly preferred.
- VMWare vShpere 5+.
- Windows Server 2008+.
- Familiar with software packaging and code deployment.
- Experience using Open Source Software (OSS).
- Knowledge of any of the following: Java, Apache httpd, Tomcat, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, XML.
- ITIL Foundations v3 certified a plus.
