Job Summary
Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure. As a SaaS Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the monitoring, maintenance & administration of SaaS application and/or platforms. You will be required to work closely with DevOps, Platform Engineering, Testing, DBaaS & other teams to ensure a responsive & reliable Cloud service for the customers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring, maintaining & supporting the Customer environments.
- Work closely with DevOps, Platform & Testing teams for deploying Patch Release/Quarterly Release to the Production environments.
- Work on the Backup/Restore & Disaster Recovery.
- Troubleshoot customer service requests.
- Automate SaaS Operations tasks.
- Proactively monitor and regularly publish health status reports of the application.
- Create & maintain documentation for applications, processes & procedures.
- Learn & implement new technology, tools, and processes, as and when required.
- Participate in rotational shifts to support applications round the clock (24X7).
Skills & Experience
- B.E., B-Tech, BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology
- Enthusiastic self-starter with 3+ years industry experience delivering software as a service in a modern DevOps culture.
- Experience of deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of Cloud applications.
- Working knowledge of tools like Git, Jenkins, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Jira Service Desk.
- Basic knowledge of any public Cloud Platform.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle Database.
- Strong communication skills & ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
