Infosys is seeking a GCP Senior Technology Architect. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will provide inputs for identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of applications, provide regular support and guidance to project teams on complex coding and issue resolution with the objective of ensuring best-fit and high-quality technical solutions within the area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys. Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design: Develop robust cloud architectures aligned with business objectives, leveraging GCP's comprehensive suite of services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, etc.).
- Implementation: Oversee the migration and deployment of applications and infrastructure to GCP, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- DevOps Integration: Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps practices, automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to GCP environments, ensuring service availability and performance.
- Security: Adhere to security best practices, implement security measures, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to protect GCP environments.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize cloud costs, utilizing GCP's pricing models and tools effectively.
- Innovation: Stay updated on the latest GCP features and technologies, exploring new ways to leverage them for competitive advantage.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

- At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology
- At least 4-5 years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as an architect and managing team
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as code (IaC), virtualization, and containerization
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and configuration management
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills to interact with customer and across different team
Preferred Qualifications: - Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL
- Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks
- Strong communication and Analytical skills
- Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
