Sr. Backend Cloud Engineer
- Shift Timing : 3 PM IST - 12:00 AM IST
- Experience : 8+ years minimum and relevant 6+ years in Node.Js, Typescript and AWS Serverless.
- Note : We are looking for a candidate who can join in 15 days or less.
- Any Mastek location : Gurgaon, Noida, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Trichy.

Primary Responsibilities
- Ability to develop and deliver high quality end-to-end solutions. As a backend engineer you will have domain expertise in key areas but work fluidly across different programming languages and technologies
- Develop and deploy solutions with a focus on end-user experience, accessibility, high availability, low latency and scalability.
- Participate in design discussions and ensure designs are aligned with architecture and roadmap.
- Deliver testable, maintainable, and high-quality code
- Skilled ability to embrace continuous improvement
- Ability to take on operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team

Desired Skills and Experience
Essential Abilities, Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent. Master’s degree is preferred.
- 8+ years’ experience delivering highly available web/mobile applications. Prior experience in retail domain is a plus.
- Good knowledge and working experience of UI Libraries / Frameworks, API (REST), API Management and building scalable and high-performance Web APIs
- Must have hands-on experience in developing backend services for Web and Mobile applications with some of the technologies like - NodeJS with Javascript/Typescript,NoSQL stores (Key value DB, Document DB)
- Must possess strong knowledge of Caching frameworks, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems fundamentals.
- Passionate about enabling next generation experiences.
- Experience with AWS Serverless and Cloud native services with Lambda functions, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway
