1. Cloud Application Engineer
This role participates in the design, development, implementation, review, and
monitoring of a Windows-based SaaS environment that is hosted in the AWS Cloud.
This environment contains internally developed applications as well as published
data interfaces that are used internally and externally for customer systems.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leverage AWS cloud technologies to implement a streamed desktop
- application, including RDS, EC2, AppStream, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3,
- CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. Athena and AWS Glue experience a plus.
- Leverage scripting to automate creation and configuration of resources in the
- AWS Cloud and Windows Active Directory. Other third-party automation
- tools experience a plus.
- Experience with Splunk and or other enterprise logging and monitoring
- systems a plus.
- Evaluate new technologies.
- Undertake other duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3+ years of AWS Cloud experience.
- Bachelor s degree, in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows platform and application
- technology, including PowerShell scripting and Server / Active Directory
- Administration.
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies. Citrix Cloud knowledge a plus.
- Ability to follow published AWS guidelines and policy.
- Strong experience with troubleshooting technical issues in a Windows / SQL
- Server environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise computing systems, architectural
- strategies, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with data access technologies and protocols
- Familiarity with .NET, C#, and CLR objects.
- Must be able to understand technical documentation and diagrams as well as
- create and update existing documentation without assistance.
