As a Cloud Data Lead, he/she will oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based data solutions. He/she will lead a team of data engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data is managed efficiently, securely, and is accessible for business intelligence and analytics. His/her expertise in cloud platforms, data architecture, and leadership will drive the success of our data initiatives and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role with a strong understanding of end-to-end data architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Strategy: Develop and implement data architecture strategies that align with business goals. Design scalable and efficient data models and frameworks.
• Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from various sources, including internal systems and external partners, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
• Data Management: Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security. Develop and enforce data management policies and standards.
• Analytics Support: Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to support their needs, including providing data access and optimizing data pipelines for analysis.
• Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend data technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance data management and analytics capabilities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, and data engineers to ensure data architecture meets organizational needs.
• Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams. Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and ensure effective communication among team members.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability. Address and resolve data-related issues and bottlenecks.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, including data flows, data models, and technical specifications.
