Your main role as a Senior Cloud Solution Architect will be to help design technical solutions that will ensure the technical integrity, consistency and best technological choice that will answer the challenges faced by clients.
To answer these challenges efficiently you will need to build and maintain executive level relationships with a focus on the client’s satisfaction but also work closely with the technical teams either from ***** or from the clients themselves.
As an Architect your responsibilities include:
- Designing solution-wide technical architectures to support business requirements
- Gathering and structuring both business and technical requirements
- Provide solutions that can take into account the technical landscape, security requirements and the governance of the clients
- Provide a technical and business view of the selected solution architecture
- Map the functional and technical requirements expressed by Business and IT to the capabilities of the selected tools
- Leverage cloud-based & on-premise solutions to design a fit-for-purpose architecture
Profile:
- You will have a Master or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or any related field
- The ability to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the main architecture concepts such as virtualization, hybrid architecture approach and micro-services is a must
- Good knowledge of cloud offerings
- Strong experience and understanding of public cloud platforms such as AWS and MS Azure, as well as hybrid solutions, is essential
- You will have a good understanding of the technology landscape which comprises storage, back-up, network, security, and DevOps, amongst others
- Having an excellent understanding of the technology ecosystem (classical, big data and cloud) is mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: you have the ability to communicate results clearly to non-technical colleagues
- Strong analytical competencies and excellent creative problem-solving skills
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English
You will be exposed to different sectors and company functions. You will work most of the time at client sites in Belgium with possible, with occasional traveling abroad.
