Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Server Administrator will be responsible for:
- Cloud Computing:
- Proficient in Cloud services especially Microsoft Azure.
- Installation, configuration, and management of virtual machines using various server platforms.
- Management of server infrastructure, including AD/DNS, AAD, DHCP Server, and others.
- Monitoring and Infrastructure:
- Expertise in monitoring tools
- Administration of Windows and Linux environments.
- Networking skills, including VPC setup, load balancers, DNS management, and cloud-based services.
- Work Experience:
- Windows and Linux Administration.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams and documentation of DevOps SOPs and cloud services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
- 8 years experience in cloud computing and administration
- Expertise in Azure technologies, PowerShell scripting, and virtualization technologies
- Hands-on experience with network architecture and security.
- Familiarity with ITIL Foundations and ITSM tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
Experience with hybrid cloud environments
