We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver customized solutions to our clients, and we are looking for a skilled GCP Cloud Data Solution Architect to join our team.
Role and Responsibilities:
The GCP Cloud Data Solution Architect will be responsible for:
- Utilizing their 12+ years of experience in data analytics to design and implement data solutions across on-premise and cloud environments
- Working with one of the leading cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud, Azure, AWS, or Snowflake
- Handling client proposal (RFP) responses and successfully defending them
- Designing solutions for data warehouse, ETL, data lake, and architecting end-to-end data architecture
- Planning and executing on-premise to cloud migration projects
- Applying their knowledge of architecture patterns like Data Mesh and Data Fabric
- Ensuring data governance and adherence to best practices
- Engaging with stakeholders, including architects and business stakeholders, to present and advocate for technology solutions
- Working in an AGILE and DevOps environment, utilizing tools like Git/Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, etc.
- Having an architect or data engineer certification on AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage
- Experience in the telecom or media domain is also preferred
Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
- At least 12 years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on on-premise and cloud implementations
- Proven experience with at least one of the leading cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud, Azure, AWS, or Snowflake (with AWS/Azure)
- Demonstrated expertise in handling client proposal (RFP) responses and effectively defending them
- Strong experience in solution designing for data warehouse, ETL, data lake, and architecting end-to-end data architecture
- Knowledge and experience of architecture patterns like Data Mesh and Data Fabric, as well as data governance
- Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to present and advocate technology solutions to stakeholders
- Outstanding communication, listening, and influencing skills
- Experience working in an AGILE and DevOps environment with relevant tools
- Previous architect or data engineer certification on AWS, Azure, or GCP would be an added advantage
- Preferred experience in the telecom or media domain
