Job Summary:We are looking for a motivated and skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer with 1-2 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a passion for building, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure in an automated, scalable, and efficient way. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into cloud environments, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the reliability and security of cloud operations.
Roles&Responsibilities:
·Cloud Infrastructure Management:Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
·Automation & Scripting:Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
·CI/CD Pipeline Development:Create, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI to streamline application deployments.
·Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters using GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
·Set up virtual machines, cloud run, cloud app engine, cloud run.
·Monitoring & Logging:Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like GCP Stackdriver, Prometheus.
·Security & Compliance:Ensure infrastructure follows best practices for security, including implementing IAM policies, firewalls, and encryption within GCP.
·Collaboration:Work closely with software development, security, and product teams to provide guidance on cloud best practices and assist in cloud-native application development.
·Incident Management:Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Requirements
RequiredExperience,Skills,andQualifications:
·1-2 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure roles, particularly with GCP.
·Hands-on experience with cloud services such, Google Compute Engine (GCE), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and related services.
·Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
·Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, or GitLab.
·Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
·Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
·Experience in configuring and managing cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g., GCP Stackdriver, Prometheus).
·Basic knowledge of networking concepts, firewall configuration, and security best practices in cloud environments.
·Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
·Certifications in GCP or AWS (e.g.Google Cloud Associate Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
·Experience with multi-cloud environments and cloud migration projects.
·Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
·Understanding of DevOps principles and security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
