Our Telco Cloud portfolio provides the automation to meet the datacenter networking requirements when on-boarding and lifecycle-managing Virtual Networking Functions (VNF's) and Cloud-Native (Containerized) Networking Functions (CNF's) into their Cloud platform. To accomplish that, we integrate with Kubernetes, OpenStack, VMWare and public cloud.
ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an excellent devops/testops engineer, someone ambitious about automation, addressing the development needs w.r.t. automated CI/CD pipelines and addressing testing needs w.r.t. bringing up complex systems-under-test in which both virtualized and baremetal components are on-boarded and inter-connected, to a fully working system. All in automation!
In this role you will:
- Deeply understand the product we are developing and its use cases
- Work with developers for automating CI/CD pipelines based on gitlab and Zuul CI
- Work with testers for on-boarding complex systems-under-test, based on Ansible, Helm, Juju Charms, etc

We are looking for a devops engineer meeting the following criteria:
- Have obtained a Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar
- Master Linux and IP networking
- Have profound knowledge of ansible and/or ambition to master it
- Have Kubernetes knowledge, as a strong plus
- Have knowledge of gitlab (and/or Zuul) CI pipelines, as a strong plus
- Master Git / GitHub
- Learn quickly and enjoy working in a fast paced, innovative environment
- Have good communication skills in English, verbally and in writing
