A bit or byte more technical:
Azure Expertise
- Deep understanding of Azure services, including Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Policy, and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with Azure landing zones and the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) for Azure
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Proficiency in IaC tools like Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates
- Ability to modularize and manage infrastructure code for scalability and reusability
DevOps Practices
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies (e.g., Gitflow)
Automation and Scripting
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks
Design and Architecture
Enterprise-Scale Design
- Understanding of enterprise-scale design principles, including subscription democratization, policy-driven governance, and single control and management plane
- Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and compliant Azure environments
Networking and Security
- Knowledge of network topology and connectivity in Azure
- Experience with security best practices, IAM, and compliance requirements
