If so, we're looking for a talented and motivated Cloud Solution Architect to join our team! In this role, you'll play a key part in driving our Digital Retailer strategy by designing and implementing new applications and refactoring existing ones on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll collaborate closely with fellow Cloud Architects, Cloud developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into robust and efficient cloud architectures.
What you'll do:
• Oversee architecture governance: Implement and enforce architecture standards, policies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solution architectures.
• Design and implement new cloud-native applications on GCP, leveraging services like Kubernetes, Apigee, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, and others.
• Design and implement the refactoring of existing applications for optimal performance and scalability on GCP with a Cloud Native approach.
• Select and optimize GCP services based on performance, cost, security, and scalability considerations
• Participate in performance and scalability testing of cloud solutions
• Identify and implement security best practices to ensure compliance and data protection
What we’re looking for:
• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or similar role
• Experience with Domain Driven Design, Hexagonal architecture, SOA and CQRS.
• Experience designing and deploying microservices in a composable architecture
• Experience with both API-driven as well as Event-driven architectures.
• Deep understanding of Cloud technologies and architectures
• Ability to effectively lead a team of engineers
• Strong skills in cloud security and compliance best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies
