EFFECTIVE DATE: 2024/2025 School Year (Teacher's first day is August 12, 2024)
HOURS: 25 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (equal to 60 semester hours); or obtain an associate's degree (or higher); or a passing score of 460 on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment; or have College Board's SAT score of at least 480 on evidence-based reading and writing and a 530 on math
- Exhibit patience and willingness to work with elementary school students.
- Exhibit emotional stability and physical stamina necessary for meeting the requirements of the position.
- Maintain regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide small group assistance in the areas of math, reading, social studies, and science.
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding all students.
- Participate in inservice training programs.
- Locate and utilize appropriate materials for students.
- Maintain proper records.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
SALARY: $12.51/hour - $16.57/hour commenstruate with experience, per DPA Master Agreement
