The Compliance Analyst - HIMS is responsible for the coordination and analysis of the HIMS processes, including quality improvement/management, clinical documentation integrity (CDI), utilization management, customer satisfaction, and maintenance of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) compliance.
This position performs internal quality assurance reviews on clinical documentation to ensure compliance with DNV requirements and institutional policies for complete, accurate, and consistent reporting which results in appropriate reimbursement and data integrity.

- Shows strong knowledge of current regulations and standards related to own domain and their implications across different teams within own area and beyond.
- Drives compliance processes within own domain, identifies and highlights gaps, and monitors compliance across teams.
- Investigates and addresses deviations/ issues within assigned areas.
- Proactively engages with customers to seek feedback and suggestions to deliver high quality service within own area.
- Executes new approaches to improve customer systems and processes.
- Independently seeks out and addresses complex customer needs
- Liaise and engage with relevant internal/ external stakeholders to drive compliance outcomes within area (e.g., cross-functional teams and leadership, licensing bodies/ certification agencies, institutional officials, institutional committees, representatives of professional organizations).
- Oversee documentation, database management, reporting, record-keeping and filing as per compliance requirements within area.
- Assist with planning and implementation of workflows, policies, procedures, and programs within area.
- Facilitate committee meetings, trainings, and leadership reporting and communication related to own area.
- Coordinate/ participate in regulatory communication/ visits related to own area.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance
- Performs other related duties as assigned in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution
Minimum Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or related field required
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum Requirement: 6+ years of relevant experience (e.g., medical staff issues, including credentialing and CMS)
- Experience Exception: Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with DNV standards and state and federal guidelines for credentialing
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and navigation experience desired
- Inpatient / Outpatient coding experience preferred
- (LC:RHIA) Registered Health Information Administrator Licensure (RHIA) required
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $29.00 - $50.50 per hour for the role of HIMS Compliance Analyst- RHIA.
