OVERVIEW:
KPMG Jamaica
has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)”
operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to
its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).
JOB SUMMARY:
As the Document
Review and Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that
all Events and Meetings (E&M) are compliant with regard to contracting
materials, document retention standards, and independence clearance
regulations. As the successful candidate, you will be accountable for
operational/risk and compliance process support, data entry and reporting
as it relates to our compliance and event management software, as well as other
business E&M processes. You will perform work duties according to standard
operating procedures, independent judgement, and firm policies to complete
processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Service
Delivery
•Process and audit assigned contracting
material, which includes review of documentation for E&M document retention
compliance.Use judgment and analytic skills to assess when specific standard
contract language has been modified or is missing and report out on
non-compliance to E&M team members for correction or close.Identify areas
and/or themes of issues in the service of upskilling our business
professionals.Review of contracting material prior to sign-off by E&M team
members with the potential for sourcing and contracting.
•Accountable for Independence clearance
for applicable Event and Meetings (E&M) programs, utilizing knowledge of
Sentinel to manage entities and other required information, update Sentinel
reports, and forward Sentinel Lead Partner communications or questions to the
E&M compliance manager and stakeholder.
•Manage E&M Continuing Professional
Education (CPE) responsibilities utilizing knowledge of our learning platform,
Learning and Development (L&D) CPE requirements, and current E&M
process.This includes the CPE mailbox, proactively reviewing CPE documents for
accuracy and completeness, solving for issues, and communicating with planners
and the HRSC team on issues and needed revisions.
•Manage data integrity and ensure Quality
Control (QC) of program data by updating our event management system (Cvent).
Produce reporting to demonstrate QC status, manage the compliance mailbox, and
coordinate other reporting deliverables for the Business Insights team.
•Provide as needed routine data entry as
well as organizational and project management support to the E&M Resource
Management process by leveraging data and reporting from Cvent and communicate
these assignments to the planning team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s
degree or equivalent work experience.
•Minimum
of two years of experience in event management or contract management
•Strong
communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgement skills.
•Intermediate
level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel,
PowerPoint, and Outlook.
